- I was diagnosed with Stage II invasive ductal carcinoma in April 2007. I was 35 years old and 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I had a C-section at 35 weeks, lumpectomy a week later, chemo for 16 weeks, radiation, then started Tamoxifen. I was supposed to take the medication for 5 years, but I got pregnant after 2 years. So, I am now off Tamoxifen and 6 months pregnant.
